Raal subscriptions cover platform fees: software, customs paperwork, integrations, and operational support. Each subscription includes a yearly allowance of OPS, our usage credits. Shipping costs are invoiced separately at the exact rate our courier partners charge us, with zero markup added.

OPS stands for Operational Point System. It's Raal's internal usage credit unit. Each shipment consumes OPS based on its packaging type: 50 OPS for shipments using your own packaging, 100 OPS for shipments using Raal-supplied packaging. Shipments crossing customs borders add 20 OPS for customs clearance work. Your subscription includes a yearly OPS allowance.

You have two options. You can purchase top-up OPS at your tier's per-OPS rate (€1.90/OPS on Starter, €1.75 on Pro, €1.60 on Business), or you can upgrade to a higher tier with a larger included OPS allowance. Both options are available in the customer portal, and there's no service interruption either way.

No. Raal invoices courier shipping costs at the exact rate we pay. If a shipment costs us €58 with DHL, you're invoiced €58 for that shipment. Customs duties and import taxes are passed through at actual cost. This is documented in §5.7 of our Terms of Use.

Starter (€159/mo) suits small teams with one dashboard and team access, including 1,300 OPS yearly. Pro (€539/mo) adds HR system integrations, advanced customs handling, and includes 6,500 OPS yearly. Business (€1,439/mo) adds SSO, dedicated SLAs, a dedicated customer success manager, and includes 19,500 OPS yearly. Higher tiers also have lower per-OPS rates for usage beyond included allowances.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time via the customer portal. Changes apply at the next billing period. We don't lock you into long-term contracts.

For occasional shipments without a subscription commitment, Raal offers a Pay-as-you-go option. Per-shipment pricing including platform handling and shipping is available on the estimate tool. Subscriptions become more cost-effective once you're shipping consistently each month.

Yearly billing offers three benefits: 10% off the subscription base, a bonus 13th month of OPS allowance, and all your OPS available upfront rather than allocated monthly. The recommender shows you the exact yearly savings at your volume.
